Don´t like to crap a horses form either, and really love Hoo La Baloo, but he certainly got too close to make this outstanding form, IMO. On that evidence Monet´s Garden MUST run in Champion Chase, the Aintree Form has been boosted no end
I am the biggest VPU fan anywhere but agree this was no heart stopping performance. All I can say though is that I would have been very disappointed had he not won. He is lazy in front so do not think we will see him give a big winning margin. However it will still not surpise me if he wins a second Queen Mother, if not this year then a year after. He is very tough, like Viking Flagship.
Cheltenham really suits him and so does better ground.
