Vroum Vroum Mag

I mentioned on the Cheltenham thread that I have a feeling they'll aim her at the Mares and she was 12/1 this morning.

Still available in places. That price would be the bet of year if she replaced Annie in the line-up and Willie indicated this morning that they'd discuss plans after they saw how she got on over hurdles.

Well now they know.

The owner and trainer both like winners, any winner, but they really want to get Annie Power a Cheltenham win. I think she'll go to the Mares and, if VVM stays over hurdles she'll be the one for the World Hurdle.
I think she's been campaigned well. Don't forget she's still only 6 and has plenty of time if brought along gradually. I'm not sure which races a small trainer would have run her in but the chances are that he'd have foregone £110k prize-money that she's won in the last 12 months. Blame the program rather than connections who use it to the best advantage.

She's a lovely mare. Love the way she approaches her obstacles and she looks at home over the big or small.
