Time doesn't compare as well with the Windsor Castle as I'd have hoped. Inclined to be a fair bit more cautious than you and hold fire that he's the second coming just yet.

The question is how good is Bolgers who was sent off fav against him in Leopardstown. There was bombs for him on the show.
 
Interesting EC, thanks very much for sharing. 116 looks high for a Windsor Castle winner? That would have the first 5 all comfortably winning a typical Norfolk?

Just 'feels' a bit high to me.

Think you're right that round track possibly a bit slower.
 
A new Frankel? I think someone is getting somewhat carried away.

Easy to back at 8's or better for the Guineas he'd be some bet if he was.

With a dozen last time out winners competing it looked a good race on paper but it could easily prove to be quite ordinary by classic standards come 2014.

Sorry to shoot you down in flames Suny but 9 times out of 10 these performances turn out to be flattering and are seldom repeated. That's a lot more likely than him emulating Frankel or even coming close..

just on the clock he isn't as good as Dawn Approach at the same point in career...so is miles behind Frankel
 
Yes, think whichever way you split it, hard to escape the view that it's a Windsor Castle that will work out well.

Blame Three Valleys for me not wanting to go to town on the Coventry winner just yet!

But with the pedigree, born in late april and seeing how is working his race in recent years......who knows


My figure is provisional and he should need time to recover from this monster performance but he is very unusual I rate so high a horse only on his second run.

He looks top class.

i am told by the speed boys that the windsor castle was the second slowest race on the day, looks like you miles off with a mark off 112

sole power, fast .62s
declaration of war, fast .52s
extortionat,slow .32s
war command, slow .46s
well sharp, slow 7.41s
