Hi ;

I'm not posting the link, until a Mod has said okay, but tomorrow night my website which is all about my horses goes live.

On the site, there is a daily blog, video's of the horses galloping, news on all the horses, views on previous runs, outlined plans, video's of all the horses wins and a gallery of pictures from when we started to now.

The site is not linked to my previous site and is purely about the racehorses. Obviously on there is details of the Racing Club, and if the Mods don't want me to post the link because of that it's fine. But just wanted to post to find out.

The site will slow gallops weekly and loads of features, and the blog gives views on daily racing.

If I get clearance to post a link, I will.

Chris

Okay.

In all seriousness I have no problem with you posting the link so long as talk of the horses is kept in the "Forum horse connections" thread as it has been in the past. Apart from that, once the site is up and running we will all know where to go if further information is needed and I am sure plenty of us (myself included) will be regular visitors. Best of luck with the new venture.

I don't have a problem with you posting the link Chris, when I don't allow it is when someone joins and within days/hours posts a link to something they are trying to promote. I think you have been here long enough for people to know you aren't spamming :)

Looks well Chris. Best of luck with it. Have you thought about advertising it on a platform such as Facebook? Henry De Bromhead took a similar approach late last year

Couldn't see it on site but have you a limit to the maximum amount of owners that you will take on board?

Limited to 250 and we will increase another 50 members as we add extra horses, but whilst at 7 horses it's 250 places.

Major Eradicator was purchased to go hurdling and will do next season. Know No Fear has been well schooled and will go hurdling next season. Both should do well. If you listen to the audio file on the about us page, I go into detail on plans for all the horses.

My bad. As a recommendation and this is based on me personally, I'd rather see a face talking about future plans rather than an audio file. A youtube type video embedded somewhere would cover this

Trust me you don't wanna see my face :) The voice is bad enough lol

Its a very nice slick site Chris and I wish you luck in the future. Will keep popping back to see how its going.

The good bit is it's a nice-looking, fresh and inviting site, Chris. The tiny niggles (which are only related to misplaced punctuation marks) I'll PM you. Just correct those and the whole thing is set and ready to go.

Granger's idea about an embedded vid is brilliant - yes, get over your boyish good looks and go for it! It would make a big difference in the user's feeling of a real connection to you. Look - Jeremy Gask bunged a very smart, well-produced DVD about his yard in this month's copy of Owner & Breeder mag, so don't lag behind the technology available to bring YOU to what you hope (as we do for you) will be your public. Brian Meehan does a vid stable tour on his site, and he is seen in the flesh as well as talking-over. It's the way to go.

Okay - I've done a bit of proof-reading for your site, Chris, and the results are in your Inbox.
