Squealer won well for me lto after having run well previously in a listed event.

dwelt in the stalls when Squealer won but was making nice headway once the penny had dropped. This race is a cl 5 maiden and that last run makes me wonder why she is 8/1 for tomorrow's race. Unless the soft ground is her undoing, she looks to have a cracking chance here.

Well, an interesting run and a small profit.

What about this horse? I note that Squealer has been rated 91 after his win. Being 5L behind, receiving 5Lbs, on the book we could see Storm Fox on a rating of 71. Toady the winner was rated 72 and this fellow, 6L behind would be down graded to 50 or so. That would be an underrating imo so it will be interesting to see what the handicapper says. If we look at MF's Squealer run, she would be much higher than that. If fact, given natural improvement we might look at a mark of around 80.

I'm not sure the soft ground suited today, either.

If the handicapper puts her anywhere below 70, this will be of major interest imo.

We'll see.
