2.25 start is a joke anyway..it just needed one course to bring the times back a bit

Very poor from the BHA, they knew 2 days ago Ffos Las was off so could have changed Carlisle's times to 10 minutes after Navan and no clashes. Ironically they've been delaying Carlisle for Limerick to finish only for it to clash with Navan. Idiots!

Love to know how much was matched on Betfair in comparison 2 any 3 other meeting run at reasonable times to allow punters to place bets.
Many punters won't bet in race B until they know the result of race A and today that would be all but impossible to do.
These balls up must cost the industry a fortune over the years. Even on normal days you can have 5 minutes between two races when it could be 8 minutes
In other countries they use individual minutes eg. 3.17pm for off times because they realise every minute counts.......A child of 4years could work out why

I agree Tanlic...It would certainly be interesting to leave a 20 minute break then have 3 quick races..like this..every day for a year..and see just how much the money bet got reduced
Its clear to me that on a day where there are just two meetings..if you give punters 15 minutes for each race..they will study them and bet accordingly..if you next day then ran them 5 minutes apart..many would only bet on two races an hour instead of 4
