Thankfully remembered to watch it from the beginning this time. Wasn’t it great. I’ve never been a fan of blues music; I’m ashamed to say I only liked their commercial stuff. But I’m going to get my ‘best of’ cd out tonight and listen to it. I Wikipedia’d Jeff Beck the other day to find out what he died of.  It said the band sacked him but I was pretty sure that, in the documentary, it said he’d left. He never imo did anything of note after The Yardbirds. I bought one of his albums once and never bothered to replay it. I’m so envious of people I’ve spoken to who saw them play live. I think I must have put a curse on my teenage crushes, the other one being Syd Barrett. Having said that, I did like Herman’s Hermits ( who were imo better than their pop imagine) and Peter Noone is living in America and still playing. No milk today is a beautifully constructed little song. I might have to subscribe to Sky so I can watch it again.
