Slightly bizarrely, I have no pictures of myself online.

Somewhat more bizarrely, my ugly mug appeared in the Racing Post last December - ''The Missing Mitchell Brother'' is the kindest of a small unkind collection of remarks on the subject at internet forums at the time, Irene Handl and Warren Mitchell's lovechild being IMO among the most unkind. :lol:

I've started a fast today, as seeing all these 'Fat Nation' promotions of the television, and having felt like a grounded Blimp yesterday, I decided I was well, well overdue to take myself in hand. (Well, to do that, I'd actually need a JCB backhoe, not just a hand.) So I'm going to kick of with a few days of fasting, which I find very enjoyable once I'm past the first three days. Fruit juices (I'm going to experiment with my new juicer) and some light soups, and then onto just fruit and nice fresh veggies until some headway is gained.

So, if you're losing a bit of weight, Merls, well done! I don't think I'll regain the slim bod I had until my 40s, but if I can dump 3 stone I'll be a lot healthier for the effort. Right, one day down, only 364 to go.... :angry:
