They sound intriguing - care to share some of the insights gained by those particular publications??!!! ;)

Bookcase?? As in singular?? That in itself illustrates that my many bookcases, boxes & suitcases full of books are far too many!!!

Puppetry of the Penis is a traveling show - two Auzzie ( or NZ - not sure which! ) blokes ( obviously!! ) pulling their willys and scrotums ( scrotai??!! ) into various shapes and forms ( you'll never look at a hamburger the same way - trust me! ) I'm sure weve had a thread about them before - but ages ago!!

Think Sex - fairly helpful - but theres noone to practice on at the moment....

How to please him in the bedroom - see above!!

No - I have many bookcases - full of all sorts of stuff - its just that I have to move this particular one - the others are full of things like horses in training, JC rule books, Terry Pratchets, more silly books, cookery books etc. and history type things about the National and stuff. HAve also got that Elizabethan book you were talking about a while back - is it called The Queens Fool or something?? Am trawling my way through Moll Flanders at the moment - but its quite hard work - am alternating it with Hat Full of Sky ( Terry Pratchet ) - makes for interesting mix ups....

Yes, The Queen's Fool by Phillippa Gregory? It's good, as are the others she has written about that era.

I was sorting out the books from my friends house that I am currently clearing and managed to keep about 50%, and split the rest between various charity shops and a local library. I have put up some bookcases at work this week, so the staff can sit and read a book in their lunch hour. I even have some garden chairs for them so they can sit in the sun when the weather permits. That way, I benefit for not having got rid of them and the staff (hopefully) benefit from being able to read about, horses, cats and gardening and occasional non fiction too. I think they were pleased. B) There were also some strange books about horoscopes, books about Kings and Queens of England, and a few very obscure ones I decided to keep too. The really old ones, (one dated the 17th century - not sure if that is right?) I am going to send to auction or keep for prosperity.

My boyfriend absolutely adores reading biographies, and currently has a "thing" about Errol Flynn. :what: He has read 3 books (one he had to purchase from the USA) and has started getting his films on DVD. Should I be worried? B)

Here's a rare picture of Errol for his collection:

errol_flynn.jpg

1) "Oh, darling, darling, it's - it's - flippin' 'eck, Errol, where the hell IS it?"

2) "Did you put the light out? It's gone very dark suddenly..."

3) "Kinell, Errol! Go and shave, for God's sake! I nearly suffocated down there!"

4) "That's the best Groucho Marx impression I've seen in years!"

 @ Krizon

Maurice, are you referring to the size of his wotsit? If you are, I had heard that rumour and mentioned it to my boyfriend and he thought I had dreampt it up. I know Errol had lots and lots of girlfriends, but that was obviously down to other things other than the size of his thingy.

Given the amount of, er, friction, Errol's Mr Winkle would've incurred over years of use, Kathy, do you think it just wore down?

to the size of maggot? :what: Now, I am no expert on these matters Krizon, but I am sure that could be the excuse for some men......including Mr. Flynn. Am I right chaps? B)
