OK - my neighbour has suggested going to the cinema on Thursday with her and the choice is:

Hostage

Hitch

The Woodsman

Constantitne

Has anyone seen any of these? Are any, any good? Or are they all cr*p? She is keen on Constantine (but it looks a bit scary to me and I'm a bit wimpy that way!).

Any info would be v grateful - I'd rather go and watch Valiant but she says I will have to wait next week for that to go with her 6yo son!

I haven't seen any of them, but The Woodsman looks by far the most intriguing. It's subject matter, however - a convicted pedophile's attempts to re-integrate himself into society - may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Ive got all 4 of them movies, all very good apart from Hitch which is not really my kind of thing. Heres one a watched last night.

Man About Dog
--------------------------

Man About Dog is an irreverent, witty and fast paced comedy caper about a tale of 3 losers who leave their quaint town with a debt of 50k which they owe to a bookie only to embark on a journey of self-debauchery courtesy of drink, greyhounds and hookers.

Verdit = Imagine Guy Ritchies Snatch with more balls, more gypsies, more dogs, more sex, more deals, cross deals and double deals then this is what you have here, its so funny it had me in stiches the irish sure no how to make a good film. If this film is your sort of thing go and see it you wont be dissappointed.

I've only seen Hitch and, while it was OK, I did feel that someone should have warned me to take a sick bag... it's cloyingly sentimental in places, and unless you are a hopeless romantic then it will undoubtedly turn the stomach!

I would like to see The Woodsman as it has had excellent reviews and is a very brave subject.

Sahara it was - entertaining but not for the film snobs I suspect. A bit of a Indiana Jones film. Good boat chase, lots of action shots and completely unbelievable sequences whreby the hero manages to cling to boat/train/high rise tower etc while defying the laws of gravity. But it was fair entertainment for a Sunday afternoon.

I would love to see Million Dollar Baby but think I may have missed it around here. Just have to see my mate to get me a pirate DVD instead!
