I expect most on here have a tracker and I thought it might be interesting to see what sort of thing generates an entry. My top three are:

The Thwarted

A well supported horse (usually) that loses momentum after it has started what looked like a very strong challenge where it matters. Mucks up the last, horse jumping across it at the last, suffering interference, suddenly veering off line etc, etc.

The Learner

An inexperienced horse where the penny drops after a green early part who finishes strongly and competently without being put under any pressure.

The Oh So Nearly

A horse that finishes strongly, only to be touched off by the winner with the rest miles away.

I like to keep it under 100, 65 this year

Stable tours always lead to 15 to 20 new each year

I'll add bumper horses monthly with an eye to chasing careers

Sales toppers get noted

I am pretty quick to remove horses too

You must have a long list Len.

I think, to be more accurate, it’s the “blatant non-triers, who have stolen my effin money!” I’m watching them all race anyway, and you know when they’ve been put away. Stormingin was the latest at Chelmsford on 8 December. It should have p1ssed the race, but the jockey just sat tight, barely moving a muscle; finished 5th.
