I was heckled into opening a facebook account last night & stupidly I ticked the box that invited everyone in my email folder, not too bad for your average person but not for me!

I am a moderator on one of the busiest freecycle sites in the country & what do I find out last night? Gmail auto adds people email addy to my address book, so when I get up this morning I have gad over 50 emails (& counting) asking me who I am DOH! :o

Could be worse - one of my colleagues accidentally sent an email to the entire global address book of the company where I work (which provides support to one of the biggest banks in the world) - so basically somewhere in the region of 250,000 people (including the CEO) got his version of a rant about what a w@nker his manager is and how much he hates his job etc into their email inboxes last night.

He has just been escorted into a meeting with said manager and a few senior managers - reckon he will be escorted out of the building by lunchtime.

I'm still trying to work out what has happened to my curser since downloading IE 8!!!!

I shouldn't laugh but :lol:

Think of how much damage has been done by Microsoft making that Reply All button so handy in Outlook :D
