In essence the posting of the Champion Hurdle thread does dominate the forum and Euro's post made me think as to what race i'd pick to see if I could only pick one

Reckon the Arkle will be the race of the meeting.

Champion Hurdle will definitely see the performance of the meeting.

I’m not normally a huge fan of the Gold Cup but this year’s is interesting.

We often hope to see the previous year’s best novices against the past winners only to be disappointed as many of them fail to progress from their novice campaigns and/or don’t make the race.

In Galopin, Stattler, Bravemansgame & Ahoy Senor vs A Plus Tard, Minella Indo and to lesser extents, Protektorat and Conflated we have that though. Throw in the likes of Noble Yeats & Hewick and it’s interesting.

Gold Cup for me this year.

But as a 25/1 ticket holder on Marine Nationale and 12/1 Mighty Potter I’m more excited to see those for financial reasons.

It’s a rotten question! It’s too late for me, but I’m getting my grandson(who has no interest in racing - yet) to watch the Champion Hurdle with me so he can boast in forty or fifty years time “I once saw the great Constitution Hill”.

The first day is always my favourite day, as THAT day has finally arrived. The CH is the race for me, and the preceding three races will serve up their own dramas and create their own stories - but all roads lead to 3:30. I take the week off work, and have taken to spending the first day in the pub over the past 10 years; either legging it to the bookies between races, or betting on my phone. The rest of the card on Day 1 is usually very mediocre, but the Mares Hurdle looks fantastically competitive this year.

I’m seriously hoping to see the performance of my lifetime from Constitution Hill this year.

Most year's it's the Gold Cup and after that the Supreme (like last year) and Arkle. The only Champion Hurdle I can recall that was the race of the meeting was the Hurricane Fly/Tent/Jezki/The New One renewal.

I agree with Lee.
The coral, county and pertemps are usually my faves.
But this year the Gold Cup has to be the stand out race.
I think Galopin is just as exciting as CH and will he stay the extra 2f.
Will A Plus Turd reproduce it's best.
I'm really looking forward to watching Hewick to see if hes up to it.
Statler and Noble Yeats are proven stayers who could also upset the apple cart.

The champion hurdle will be worth watching as well.of course.
I will looking at the lengthen your odds on Ch winning by 10L.

Queen Mother for me. This one’s stood out for me ever since Viking Flagship won that epic race in 1994 and carried on being my favourite via Call Equiname, Edredon Bleu, Sizing Europe, Sprinter Sacre. So emotional when Sprinter came back to win again in 2016

Forgot to mention Moscow Flyer. How could I [emoji20]

Seriously, for me it is always the Champion Hurdle. I got into racing in the mid 70s and just fell in love with hurdlers. They were the days, although earlier was special too, Persian War, Bula, Comedy Of Errors etc. That was before my time really though, my starting
era was Sea Pigeon, Birds Nest and Night Nurse.

My only visit to Cheltenham was Champion Hurdle day 1985, I particularly wanted that day out of the three. Harry Hastings won the Supreme, See You Then won the CH for the first of his wins, after Browes Gazette did a bizarre start. On that day, it was John Francome's last Cheltenham and Desert Orchid ran in the CH. It took us an hour to get out of the field car park. Great memories, it was a lovely sunny day too.

I was ahuge fan of Kauto Star so the Gold Cup during his era was always of the most interest but overall....the Champion Hurdle since the day I saw Persian War and by some way.

As far as the most exciting race goes for me it had to be Sprinter Sacre winning the 2016 QMCC apart from the fact he went off at 5/1 which was like all my Xmas's came at once
