Sir Bufton Tufton?

I thought Sir Bufton passed away some time ago, leaving Lady Bufton the manse, the silver, the 1937 Silver Cloud, and the 1938 butler? Am I wrong? :brows:
 
Sir Bufton is indeed spending some time at Her Majesty's pleasure . He was arrested at the Anthony Eden Centre for Distressed Gentlefolk and was tried and found guilty of hunting not foxes but the local peasants . I had warned him that mantraps were illegal but would he listen no .He said it was a part of traditional country life to catch a few poachers and if lucky a few ghastly people from the ramblers Association with their perspex map holders , beards and hummus sandwiches washed down with aqua libra .

As you can imagine it has caused much pain and embarrassment at Tufton Hall . Our eldest gel Cecilia , 42 and with a face like a horse, has had to refuse her invitation to the Fight the Ban Hunt Ball where many local landowners would be campaigning for the legal return of hunting and mantraps. If you ask me putting a few on local council estates after dark would stop those chavs from hanging around bus stops . I am sure Merlin would agree .

Our son Horace is about to enter the church and can be found most evenings at the altar praying for his father's soul . I ventured to suggest that it would take two Popes and an Archbishop , a top notch Q.C and an easily bribed policeman to get Bufton off at which I was accused of having no faith .

Well that is untrue . I have faith in two things , this blue bottle containing colourless liquid that goes awfully well with tonic . Hic and that Sir Bloody will put me on to a winner some time this summer .

He is the utimate alright. Never managed to work out who he was though the suspicion was always that he was a somebody. :shy:
