Incredible scenes after the last. Found it quite amusing even though I backed the above. If you haven't seen the race, try to catch the video later.
 
What happened? I backed Starvin Marvin and cut off the stream after the last as he'd lost. My account says I won??
 
Harry, What's The Scoop decided to take a 90 degree left turn half way up the run in. BG did well not to fall off the way he swerved.
 
Im at the course. When watching it it was a case of is this really happening. My mates backed him as well
 
Is there anything Geraghty could have done? A crack down the shoulder maybe? This is pocket talk by the way....
 
Are Sandown Park blameless? A rail stops shortly after the last hurdle and horses are then left in a wide open space, maybe it's surprising it doesn't happen more often, although you often see plenty of weaving about on the run in.

And that's not even mentioning the questionable necessity of them having 2 winning posts although of course that's not relevant in this case.
 
Agree about the missing rails, wide open, bit of camber to the left and off they go if they have it in mind.

Was on Starvin Marvin, watched it run out of puff and get headed so went to brew up, come out of kitchen and was flabbergasted to see it had won
