I presume most people have one or two they use more than others, just wondered who were the most popular and why?

I use Betfair more than anything else, but thats solely due to the way I gamble these days more than anything, once you get hit with the premium charge it takes away the attractiveness to a certain extent though.
For normal bets I use Bet365 and racebets (anyone still use them?) more than others, 365 offers are second to none usually and I've never been limited by either (not that my bets are massive anyway!).

What about offers, do they tempt you? I'm using Matchbook at the moment for football, mainly cos theres 0% commission for the next month or so. I don't have an account with Victor but saving that for Cheltenham, for the £100 free match bet. Last one I signed up for was Betbutler but can't really get away with them for some reason.

Anyone been limited in stakes, I remember a few years ago Ladbrokes limited me to 10p on all weather straight forcasts :D

What about casino's, bingo, slots, does anyone play them and who do you use?

Closed with all firms except Hills and a few rogue firms. I use shops or Betbutler.

I'll also add there is very little to be gained by betting into exchanges except when you know something.

not sure i get what you mean tbh.
If you are getting a bigger price than available at other bookies (after factoring in any deductions) then surely that is a gain?
I tend to lay on the place market in running, which is what probably 80% of my bets on betfair are. Play in play on betfair football usually (using matchbook for some bets now obviously), already greened up on the liverpool match :D

Haven't had a bet with Betfair since 2000 Guineas day (not under my own name).Flirted with betdaq for a while and opened an account with WBX last week. You will get on with WBX and the attraction for me is you can't trade out in running.
Bet365 have been my only bookmaker account for a long time but I am going to open up plenty of accounts during festival week.I flirted with racebets for a while and believe its possible win money off them but I always felt slightly unlucky with them-my sister might be opening an account with them soon.

Have accounts with all the main ones and spread the money around in general.

I use Betfair less than I used to but I think it all depends on where you profit in your betting. Slim seems to like big each way punts/doubles at large odds which is a no go on exchanges. I do best in conditions races at prices between 7/2-8/1 and so Betfair can be used on those sort of selections provided I'm getting 6.8 at least on a general 11/2 shot.

betvictor are great for football. when i plug a double or treble into oddschecker and bring up the odds comparisons they come out on top 9 times out of 10.

as a small stakes punter most of the time i don't use betfair so much. hills seem quite good for racing. 365 a solid all rounder. i liked paddy but they are still the only bookie who've emailed me to restrict me from their special offers.

Betfair for anything ante-post, plus horses, F1 and Darts (merely a dabbler in other sports).

B365, Paddy Power primarily for multiples - occassionaly use Coral/Hills/Ladbrokes for same.

I've a rarely-used Totesport account for Placepots/Jackpots/Ten to Follow.

Only ever been shut-down by Sky Bet, on the back of an alarmingly (for them) good run on F1 in 2007 & 2008. I must be useless at the horses.

Bet365 most frequently nowadays and used BetVictor quite a bit for fez AP for the NRFB concession. Coral/Hill/Lads less frequently but occasionally good offers from those guys, e.g. Coral enhanced prices and Lads golden lock-ins

888sport another one I use regularly and they're the only one that's ever restricted me.

Sometimes Sky, Betfred, Power

Paddy power and boyle sports online. Just because I have good balances there.

Coral and tote (bet Fred) phone. Corals remain good value for offers

Betfair a little

Usually amongst that lot will get best or close to best price.

I only have PP, Bet365 and Hills left. I mind Bet365 a bit. ToteSport and Coral have given me the 2 fingers in the last month for very little. I can bet in cash to almost any amount with 2 local books

Betfair for long range ante's.

Tote for my place trebles holiday fund booster....120 x £1 trebles each placed individually...only costs £36 if you get of to a winner with you first selection.

Laddies, PP, Tote, Hills, Skybet for shopping around for best price once they start moving...e/w singles and e/w multi's
