And Griffin and Miss VC I am relying on you not to betray a confidence :P :P

Ha bloody ha......I can parallel park better than most people!!! Bloody have to around here, too many fecking Gibbos parking their poxy mopeds in the middle of parking spaces...... :angy:

 I'm not saying a word

Last weekend in the carpark behind work there was just my car (an Escort Estate named Johnny) and a Range Rover. All that space and I still managed to scrape the side of my car on the corner of the Range Rover, leaving a lovely dent in the rear passenger door which now doesn't open and lock properly  I was hoping to sell Johnny later on this year but I may have just ruined all chance I had of finding a mug to buy him

It's so obvious really! In a jumbled up fashion in the number plate there are the letters JFK, so therefore he is known as Johnny. It suits him, and he likes his name.

My last car was called Bernard. A very slow and steady name, befitting a Fiat Tempra Estate :)

Okay, can I have first guess? Is it because the car is an 'escort'? (Snigger, snigger.)

My first car, a VW Beetle, was pre-owned (by about 17 years!) and already had her name on a little bumper plate: OLGA. The Mazda and Protons since haven't been named, though every time I get back home I always praise 'her' and say "fantastic job, darling, you've done very, very well". I also talk to 'her' while we're driving, and give her special praise whenever she sees off some tailgating dickhead. (Spraying the d/h with windscreen wash helps, though!)

Yes, I'll admit to talking to Johnny too  Whenever anybody says anything derogatory about his performance I stroke his dashboard reassuringly and tell him not to listen to those nasty words. He's looked after me and my children very well, and although he needs new bits and bobs on an all too regular basis I do really like him. Last month he had a new exhaust and now he needs a new fanbelt. As soon as that's replaced he's bound to need something else.

Johnnys failing is his lack of space. I want a car with at least six or seven seats so I'm afraid that soon Johnny will be looking for a new home

Does it have to be Mr Griffin? B)

I think I mentioned this before, when I was teaching Mrs Mo to drive I told her to let clutch out, so she opened the door <_<

When I told her to dip the headlights she drove into the canal <_<

When I asked her to check her wing mirrors she drove over a cliff <_<

   No, he's a proven sire of three lovely fillies and I think it's best to stick with what I know. Be interesting to see if he can manage to produce a colt this time but he's insisting that he's been retired :P

My car has a hate, hate relationship with our gatepost, I can reverse anywhere, try doing it the easy way (forward) and yep dent in rear door, gate post, not a scratch.

My car has lots of names, just not permitted on this forum.
