"Who's The Daddy" Semi Final Draw & Selections

Once again many congratulations to the 4 Semi Finalists, we've seen a mix of consistent scoring, big wins and scrape throughs, but you all deserve your place in the final 4.

The draw is:

Bar The Bull v Dave G
EC1 v moviebuff​


Rules for tomorrow slightly different, double bank, but pretty much the same!

  • Players will have £2,000 to bet with.
  • There are no restrictions on bet type, but minimum stake for multiples is £10. Only bets on UK & Irish Horse racing taking place on that day will be accepted.
  • Failure to post your selections before the off time of your opponents first selection will result in a stewards enquiry and probable disqualification.
  • The biggest return wins a match. The winner of each match will move in to the weekend Final.
  • In the event of a match where neither player gets a return, the nearest to draw a return in terms of distance beaten will be the deciding factor in who goes through.
  • In the event of N/Rs and no reserve being posted the stakes will be spread equally amongst all your other selections.

The 2nd Semi saw a victory for moviebuff, the larger stake on Gandalak proving decisive, well done moviebuff!

All to play for in the 1st Semi, BTB has a return already but Dave has more bullets left to fire.

Only victory for Dave's final selection, Tidal Way 19.45 Bangor, will be good enough to give him a chance at the Final, the good news for him is that I've backed Super Collider in that race, so that narrows the field slightly!

On a day when I nearly forgot what colour I use when someone gets a return, Bar The Bull progresses from Semi Final 1, with a convincing victory. Hard luck to Dave G & EC1 but congratulations on getting this far!

The weekend Final will see Bar The Bull versus moviebuff, may the best tipster win!
