...Rooster? The indie band whose first single "Come Get Some" was a top 10 hit are named after some of this forum's members' favourite hurdler. The band was named Rooster after singer Nick Atkinson won £250 on Rooster Booster. Now that you know that I would expect their name to appear regularly on the "What Are You Listening To?" thread from now on.

It's a pity that "The Old Grey Whistle Test" is no longer on BBC2 - they would just have to be the resident band...

I would need to check who the pianist is on my copy Ardross, I tend not to bother with minor details like that as long as it doesn't sound like it might be me playing. (Which one of my versions of Gymnopedie does :angy: ).

Pianist ? Is that Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No 2 rather than symphony as there is no piano in that

and in answer to your question, it is Symphony No.2 I was referring to , an exceptionally melodic piece, as opposed to the very beautiful Piano Concerto No.2, of which I only possess excerpts.
