I have had a good and a pretty bad 2005.

After the events of the last few months this last week has been pretty awful too. I fell off my TB and got concussion - I am not allowed to ride or drink for 3 weeks due to the medication I am now on! :(

This morning my best friend nearly lost a horse travelling in her horsebox through a freak accident where the horse managed to almost climb over the central partitioning. Her horse box now has a very large sun roof where the fire brigade had to remove the horse through. The horse is now with one of the best vets in the country so hopefully it will be OK. I have just phoned to see if it's OK and it will be kept in for 24 hours for observation. It is a miracle he survived. I was amazed when I arrived at the scene that he was still alive. He was heavily sedated but soon managed to get to his feet. The emergency services were absolutely brilliant throughout.

I am hoping that after this weekend, my luck improves.

I haven't been around much, but I have been looking in, and it is a great window on the world when you are not feeling 100%!

Keep up the good work guys and gals and thanks again for all the kind messages I received at a particularly sad time for me a few weeks back. It really was appreciated!

A Happy New Year to everyone on this forum!!.

Thank you, dear Col, and we all wish you a great 06, too. And thanks again for providing us old (and young) windbags with somewhere to sound off, crack a few jokes and, best of all, make new friends. Cheers!

Good luck in 2006 - rock on the Festival now it's January!!
Yep, just over 10 weeks now until the Festival and the arrival of Number 4 :D For the first time ever I shall be praying that I have the baby late, certainly not early or heaven forbid, on her due date :o

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Bloody hell Brian - what about us laaaadies? Can we have a pic of Señor Guest's arse please?? I'd pay good money & I'm sure others would too - especially Hunneyb...

Hey, Grif - wouldn't you rather you had bebé numero cuatro early? It'll be smaller, thus easier to propel out! You can get it foaled & tucked up well before the Supreme Novices that way!!! :D

By the way, you've earned my nomination for Woman of 2006 already - my age and madre de cuatro already! Brave woman you - and a far better one than me!!!

Woman Of The Yeah eh? I can think of more deserving cases :shy:

No, I definitely want her to stay where she is until after the last race on the Friday. It's the only way to guarantee uninterrupted viewing  What if she comes out, takes one look at her family and spends the next few days screaming in shock? At least once Cheltenhams out of the way I'll have the time to look after her, I shouldn't have to resort to locking her in the shed so that I can watch the racing in peace  And smaller doesn't always mean easier to propel out. Daisy was my smallest at 7 lbs 12 ozs and there's no way I'd want to give birth to her again! the following 9 lbs 1 oz and 8 lbs 2 ozs were much much easier :D

9lbs 1oz?????????????

Fuck that - if they're gonna be that size they ain't coming outta this body naturally!!!!!!! That is if I allow anything out, hwich is highly unlikely....

Mr GG said to me earlier why couldn't I be considerate and have a c-section :o He says all the celebs do it to preserve their 'lady bits' so why did I have to insist on doing everything naturally  h:)

Perhaps Mr GG could have a celebrity vasectomy, so your 'lady bits' don't get any more wear and tear in the future, hmm? No - didn't think so...
