The Beeeders Cup Mile could be a serious renewal this year. Wise Dan looks a 124 or 125 horse.

Anyone know why Cityscape carried 3lb more in a Grade 1 race? Surely they don't carry penalties in a Grade 1?

Think he carried 5lb more. Worthadd and Hunters Bay had 8.7, three others, including the winner (all Group 2 scorers this season) had 8.9 and Cityscape had 8.12

Canadian Grade 1's are just like Canadian Dollars. Not worth as much as the American version.

Those race conditions are just fundamentally wrong. In my opinion the only allowances in a Grade/Group 1 (excluding handicaps, that's another debate) should be for sex.
