I think the little black guy could do it now he's stopped blubbing.
A very good voice who could sing a load of different songs

I rate Ray having heard him sing this last week - I didn't realise he had been in Brookside.

I think Simon Cowell has a very strong quartet this year.

Ray has to have a major chance coz he always smiles and looks happy
And he can sing!!

I tend to miss the odd one due to hopping bewteen XFactor & SCD. Have yet to really hear Sharons lot yet. Did catch the sacking of Avenue by Louis though - bloody right too!

Kirst, do you get the time to see to the horses in between your compulsive viewing of these trashy reality TV shows?! ;) :P

No thats Brians job! Of course I do - but its just relaxing to watch stuff that requires zero effort. And I am limited now to those two. I don't have Lost, Desparate Housewives, My Name is Earl, Grays Anatomy or Prison Break to satisfy me these days!

You've gotta feel sorry for Bri - knowing he can't provide the satisfaction a night in front of the box can!!!!

Friend in works daughter has gone to same acting/singing school as Ray since an early age. He tells me Ray must have a good chance as he can sing in any style you care to name and is also an extremely good dancer etc. Must stand him in good stead for the "live" shows coming up.

Also know a father of one of "Eton Rd". As good as they are, the extremely camp one could be the weak link in this band's progress.

Is it me or had the skinny one from Eton Road put on significant weight when Louis turned up to tell them they were now in the final 12? At the boot camp he looked like a Belsen case.

Jinny, I seriously thought he was anorexic.

As for the Brookside kid, please tell me he went to a stage school. It's too depressing to think he ended up like that without doing so.

Jinny, I think it must have been what he was wearing. Apparently he is quite the drama queen in that after singing a song, he starts giving it the old " I have to sit down now, I'm tired" routine. Never eats at al apparently.

Gareth, see above. He did go to stage school from an early age.

The first live show, Lionel Richie as a guest judge and the first lad up - Robert - sings a lionel richie song, what an arse kisser, and he didnt have the voice for the song either. His voice is too light, there doesnt seem to be any muscle there

Gutted the Untouchables went out.
The 2 Scots were shite; they sounded like 2 backing vocalists needing a lead to carry them.
3 Times A Lady must have made Lionel go grey!!

I had a small bet on Ray after redaing this. I don't usually see the show but I saw a bit of it tonight thought that Ben, the one with the long hair, was a terrific singer. For the purposes of the bet I hope that all the young girls and mums keep voting for Ray though.

I can't fathom out how that girl was voted in the bottom two tonight.

Brian H you are so right!
That girl was a good singer but Ben is class.
He has such a good voice I think Sharon might replace Ozzy with him in Sabbath!!

MY favourites are Ray, who sang very weak last night, Ben who has an awesome voice and Leonie [ i think her name is] she sang right at the end and was the best on the night IMO. Simon thinks she is the one with the most talent, ............we will see.
