X-Factor

To be honest I prefer Strictly Come Dancing. I`ve caught some of the repeats and the constant tears and melodrama really grate. One of the lasses had a terrific voice though. I think she was in the over 25 group, was that Alexandra? The boys as usual are all powder puff singers. Steve Von Till would eat them alive.

Out of interest Euro, who do you think will win Strictly? The rugby player is really good but he is a cocky bastard and could turn the public off.

There is no female dancer in Alesha Dixon`s league this year so I reckon a bloke will win, and the guy off Holby City would be the likeliest imo. Healey is similar to Darren Gough, being a sportsman who`s a bit too cocky. Only the latter wasn`t quite as in love with himself as Healey is so I can`t see him winning.

I would give the girls another week before ruling them out...there was the girl from the BBC show in the afternoon that caught my eye in the group dance...but early days.

I watched Strictly for the first time ever tonight. F*ck me those judge's scores have nothing to do with ability. As I said to the couple that I watching it with: there is no chance that the the producers of the BBC's flagship show would leave the outcome to chance. I'd love to see the production notes before having a bet.

The scores are relative to improvement and what the couples have done in the past. That is why Andrew Castle scored more than the woman from One Show despite it being in all probability a worse dance.

X Factor is virtually unwatchable to people with taste in music. The constant moody looks at the camera and terrible song choices ruin what is a good concept.

I would love to have seen his previous dance. He was so static tonight I was afraid to wear a jumper.

He was a lot worse the previous week. He had a habit of sticking his arse out rather than holding his lower body close to his partner.

I freel admit to having little taste in music!! :p Thought bar a couple, last night's show was the best episode of X-Factor I have seen. The girls are seriously talented.

Absolutely has to be Alexandra. She was in front of the others anyway coming into tonight but now that JLS murdered one of the best songs ever in Hallelujah and Alexandra performed it so well I even think she may have done what I didn't think was possible and maybe even performed it better than Jeff Buckley's version, she cannot conceivably lose.

In fact, release Alexandra's version of Hallelujah and there's your Christmas No 1. It'll stay there for some time too. It was superb.

Ok, so maybe it wasn't as good as Jeff Buckley's version but it wasn't at all far off. It was different to Buckley's version, but superb nonetheless.
