Alan Daly ended his riding career in a blaze of glory, when riding Desert Dreamer to victory in the seller at Lingfield yesterday. I don't think there will be any controversy over this one though. Desert Dreamer was the favourite and brought with a well-timed run down the outside by Daly.

Alan is intending to become a fireman.

Good luck to him I say.

Was he not favourite with very good reason? i.e. all his form pointed to him being the best horse in the race.
