Got a few popping up today which are interesting, but none for a full bet given the competition.
1:50 - as I mention in the York thread I keep seeing Equilateral who is a Group horse in a handicap. Surely his class will see him in the top half dozen? Also, it seems a change of scenery has galvanised Intrinsic Bond, but I can’t say I really trust him.
2:25 - I thought Cogitate won very comfortably at Newbury with plenty left under the bonnet. He’ll need it pitched in three Classes higher today.
3:00 - can’t really see past Gregory, but I don’t think it’s as clear cut as the market makes out.
3:35 - can’t see much between the top two, but I suppose Paddington is the most likely to have more hidden away under the bonnet. Mostahdaf, though, is surely a stronger threat than his price suggests.
4:10 - no interest
4:45 - two notebook horses here. Pinafore has been living up to early season promise running very well, but she is well exposed now as well as being up in grade. My preference is for Designer who won this last year - off 5 lbs lower - and who ran very well into fourth last time at Goodwood. She looked to be running very easily, but did not get a clear run when it mattered which probably cost her second behind Lord Riddiford. A good prep and she looks ready to rock.
5:20 - not a clue
