York - Day 3
Another day at York without a full bet, which is probably just as well. Plenty in the fun pot from the opening day, though, and not much diminished by yesterday’s blank.
2:25. I’d love to see Stradivarius have one last hurrah and also that connections recognise that his time is about done. Will add to his burden with a bit of small change for old times sake.
3:00. I thought Noble Style looked the part at Newmarket on his last run and another from the Godolphin production line that maybe destined towards the top.
4:45. Lahab was a non-runner in a Newbury race last week where I had quite fancied him. Before that I thought that he showed a lot of promise in his debut run, also at Newbury, over six furlongs where he was held up and then stuck behind a wall of horses, switched and probably finished best of all bar the winner. A leap up in Class and over an extra furlong so only a small bet with 5 places available
