Looking forward to some great racing at York and plenty to watch.
2:10 Plage De Havre - has been running decently at this level, but Oisin Murphy couldn’t stop him getting involved in setting suicidal pace with Midnight Lion last time at Newcastle. They both paid the price, PU and last. If Oisin can keep him under control this time he has a chance.
2:42 Comanche Falls - it’s twelve races since he last won and that was a Listed race here at York. He’s run off an on in Class1 races, latterly in Class2 and been shedding lbs as he went. Could sneak into a place here.
3:13 Elite Status - the two Maktoum runners seem to have this between them. Inisherin has had a wind operation and might recover his earlier pomp, but I prefer Elite Status.
3:45 Smoken - she was quite impressive last season, but it was heavy ground on both occasions. It will be interesting to see how she gets on here.
4:18 Gallant - a lot was expected of this one, but he hasn’t shown much in his two runs this season and it’s a bit of a surprise to see him upped to 7f. Perhaps it will be the making of him.
4:55 Ballistic Missile - looked interesting on debut, but has been drifting like mad so I wouldn’t want to do more than watch him.
