Just a heads up, as I know some used to use them, Racebets are leaving the UK market with immediate effect. Bit of a shock this, I knew the Betsson Group were going to streamline stuff, but wasn't expecting Racebets to go as they are the main horse racing brand, Rizk (who are staying) don't offer horse racing.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Please note that we have informed the Gambling Commission of Great Britain that, with effect from 10:00hrs on 21 October 2020, RaceBets International Gaming Limited has ceased providing gambling services to players located in Great Britain.

RaceBets International Gaming Limited will continue to trade in other jurisdictions, but not in Great Britain.

RaceBets International Gaming Limited is solvent. The closure of its UK customer accounts will be managed in an orderly way; your funds are safe and available for withdrawal in accordance with the timetable and arrangements set out below.

This email explains how you can withdraw any funds in your customer account, and how we are dealing with unsettled bets and unused bonuses.

Deposits and bets

We are no longer accepting bets or deposits, with effect from 10:00hrs BST on 21 October 2020.


Open Bets and unused bonuses

We will pay out all bets which were not settled before 10:00hrs of 21 October 2020 on the basis that they are winning bets.

We will also pay out unused bonuses as cash.

In each case, the funds will be credited to your account.


Your funds

Your customer account will remain open (unless you choose to close it) on the website, and you may access it to effect withdrawal of any funds in your account in the normal way, until 23:59hrs on 18 November 2020.

If you do have funds standing in your account please therefore log in and withdraw the funds as soon as possible.

If your account has no funds in it, you do not need to take any action.

After 23:59hrs on 18 November 2020 your account will be closed permanently.

If after 18 November 2020 you still have funds which were not withdrawn from your account, you will have until 31 December 2020 to contact our Customer Services team and ask for them to arrange to return your funds by an alternative method.

Between 18 November and 31 December 2020 if your account has any remaining balance, we will make further attempts to contact you including by email and will attempt to refund monies direct to your payment method where this is possible.

PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER 31 DECEMBER 2020 WE WILL DONATE ANY REMAINING FUNDS TO GambleAware AND THOSE FUNDS WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE TO YOU.
 
Betsson were looking at streamlining the UK part of the business, so I knew some casinos were going to close to the UK. I think its only 3% of their revenue is from the UK, and the increased costs, compliance issues and the UKGC tinkering with rules surrounding games, makes it barely viable to continue here. Rizk, their biggest UK brand is staying, however don't offer horse racing betting.
 
I gave up with these years ago
I got lucky with going Glens Melody instead of Annie Power with them in that Cheltenham 4 fold and they restricted me to next to nothing after that
 
Just a heads up, Racebets have settled all unsettled bets as of 10am 21st October as winning bets, which I think is really good. Hope someone had a nice priced Cheltenham antepost acca with them :)
