While beauty is in the eye of the beholder - and this beholder's eyes are not interested in how she looks although glamour would spring to mind as readily as it would regarding Wayne Rooney - she's hardly the most prominent or successful sportswoman. She's an average jockey at best.

These poll thingies area total waste of time and space.

I just thought it was nice that someone from racing was voted for and won whether they're a waste of time or not especially given its an Olympic year

Maria Sharapova is the world's highest paid sportswoman. I'd argue that Hayley is better at her craft.

Your argument wouldn't convince me but Sharapova is clearly overpaid.

On the other hand, if beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'd rather behold Sharapova (although I might not get higher than her belly-button).

Shes very cute and very feminine, which is unusual in the sports world. Definitely something about her i will say

She has very nice looks, but so did Kournicova (some would say) but she was a real cold fish from what i could gather

Im impressed that the readership of Glamour knew enough about any of the sportswomen on the list to vote for Hayley at all....
