Cheltenham Previews

Great stuff Diamond, much appreciated. Don't put much stock into anything from preview nights as they are 99% bluster but they can be quite entertaining and you will get the odd nugget - more often than not provided unintentionally :D

Anyone else watch these and spend most of the time roaring “Fu*ck off, you fu*cking muppet”?

I thought the matchbox one was very good. Going to listen to it again tonight. I’m a bit out of touch at the moment (not sure why given that I have racing radio on most days) and going into the festival blind so I found it very helpful. Thanks.

Currently sitting through the 90-minute ATR preview.

40 minutes and counting, and they’ve covered the Champion Hurdle, Champion Chase, Stayers Hurdle, and have just started on the Gold Cup.

What is the fu*cking point of this? Every cu*nt can see the form of these races; where every horse is exposed to fu*ck out its tits.

Focus on the unexposed novices, or the plotty ones for the handicaps, and give us your ‘expert insight’ into those, you dullard cu*nts.

A load of utter fu*cking shite, so far.

Paul Webber said that he heard from Willie's driver that Al Boum Photo and Concertista worked best at a recent gallop.

Grassy might like this

Ruby Walsh said on Irish radio that a horse he thought had no chance but had rode him that morning and was nowgoing full circle on was that boat Ngolo

Really enjoyed it. Especially seeing the Mullins horses. What a beast Monkfish is!

All very entertaining, but time to keep clear of these things now. Otherwise I could be persuaded to back half the damn horses going to Cheltenham. Gotta concentrate just on what I think, for better or worse. Hand me down those blinkers, please.
