I've bet Cleveland for the Chester Cup at 12/1 this evening. He's got one interesting profile off 97 after only 4 career runs. He'll have needed the last run but the form of that race looks hot. He's bred to be slow so no issue with the trip or going.

Stall 10. He'll need to break smart.

Nice performance by Changingoftheguard. A big horse but much better balanced than the second.

Tomorrow, 4.50 - Trojan Horse 4/1 - likely to go off around 9/4. Form in soft, guaranteed to stay and stable targets the race.

Thursday 2.05 Bastogne - Very fairly handicapped after several good placed efforts as a two year old. I won't let the draw put me off as I reckon he has plenty of early speed to come across. Good jockey booking with James Doyle on board, first time visor can bring about the necessary improvement.

This one intrigues me too. Weakened over 1m5f then put back to a mile ahead of this big step up in trip for which his dosage appears to suggest he should be very well suited:

MORPH SPEED (IRE) b. G, 2016 {4-r} DP = 2-3-13-7-5 (30) DI = 0.62 CD = -0.33

Food for thought.

Definitely trying and that's all I'll ask.

Maybe did a fraction too much in front, maybe beaten by two better at the weights, but no complaints.

I like top weights at Chester and Brentford Hope has some nice pieces of form but I can't back a hold up horse on this track with Frank on.
