Some things I'm sure people, especially kids aren't meant to see is guy bleeding out after being shot in throat is probably one of them. God knows what damage it does.

Just ignore me - always was a bit OCD about where things should be.

It is indeed a madder world than at any point in my adult aware life, but I really wasn't that old when I realised I had been born into a world that had been mad for many, many, years.

Sadly, without even looking for it, I saw the awful footage on social media - it reminded me of the broadcast footage of a killing in the Vietnam War which became infamous globally at the time.

That was over 50 years ago.

The world is mad (and disturbing), but sadly that's not breaking news.

It does, and even when you’re just having a laugh in the direction of truth, people used to take me literally and assign me opinions I don’t hold. That said, people who got it really got it.
 
I remember that I think something about Area POR’s being useless you in particular I still have a copy of it 😉…….,some people are so brave behind a keyboard.

Secretary IIRC - apparently it was suggested I was removed from the role. Actually at our AGM, my tenure was officially up this summer, however I was unanimously re-elected as none of the fixture secretaries in our Area would let me step down. I was very humbled by their kind comments.

You are indeed correct Jinnyj I just pulled up the offensive messages and had a look ( tempted to post it on here but there would be too many toys to pick up after they had been thrown out of their pram 🪇🪇🪇) The people who really matter (who actually understand Point To Point racing and of course go and are close to the action understand what a truly nice person you are and do a great job you do for Pointing in your area and at National level and the post that was made just shows that even university students can be ignorant …….personally I still think you should have gone to court with it !!
 
Tbh i always let online abuse slide its not worth getting upset about. Usually the people who are doing the abusing just make themselves look dickheads in the great scheme of things. From what I gather jinny works her socks off for less than what you'd get in a average paupers Christmas stocking. Anyone who does anything just for the love and pure passion of the sport then fair play to them, there's never going to be a long queue for voluntary work at the grass root level of any sport.

Im determined to make it to a point to point meeting this year to see what its all about.

Absolutely Danny GO to a PTP upcoming season you will love it !! Jinnyj does work her socks off only for ignorant people standing on the outside to abuse and rip the 💩 out of them but there again they do of anyone standing in a powerful position in the PTP upper echelon or anywhere else come to that they can always do better but are not prepared to put their head above the parapet…… I am safe in all I say as I am on the much loved “ignore button” and none of this will be seen or challenged 🤪
