Don't get why people get fixated on races like this, when there's far more beatables ones, it's just one race
Tradition is one of racing's strengths.
Well I'll let others follow 'traditions' of handing over money to bookies due to vainly trying to crack races like this, and I'll keep my money and pick my battles
Worried about the ground not being soft enough I think.Bunting out to 15.0 on Betfair.

More cameo appearances than Alfred Hitchcock in his own movies - don't be a stranger, mines dweller!I haven't studied the race and don't know yet if I will (stuff happening). I need to check back through my accounts as I think I might have taken 33/1 RH on the morning of its trial win. Earlier today I took 66/1 Seddon and I can see me also punting The Shunter.
Off into the mines again...
Yes. Racing manager has said he needs rain to run.
I wasn't going to say any more on Pendragon but, when I saw the time (admittedly wind assisted) Fallen Angel clocked in the Sun Chariot I thought to myself: "There will be nothing wrong with the ground next Saturday - so-called 'Sir Shrood' has clearly lost his marbles once and for all."Which makes you wonder about Prescott amd Pendragon he said he'd only run Pendragon on good ground then doesn't leave him in for the race....I would so love to kick him in the bollocks!
It could certainly be argued that Hipop De Loire outran his mark at Doncaster in what was certainly a truly-run 2m2f contest.
He runs off OR 106 on Saturday and on Town Moor he was 5.75l third to a horse rated OR 115 and 7l clear of the fourth who was OR 105.
You could argue he ran to somewhere between OR 109 and OR 112 that day so would be 3lb to 6lb well in on Saturday.
But even if he is, will it be enough to beat Hubert?
I fancy the good Reverend to deliver a blistering sermon from the Bushes!
That would be Belgravian and, tbf, this is a 3yo I DO think will have zero issues getting the 2m2f in a typically-attritional Cesarewitch.Tell me the horse that has a 10lb swing with Hubert?

Belgravian, and yes I've backed it.12/1Tell me the horse that has a 10lb swing with Hubert?
Hayley Turner would have ridden it if she hadn't retired.Nicola Currie is jocked up on Belgravian — a good chance for her to show off her talents. Obviously, connections have limited options with the weight.
Belgravian could yet be added to my "Cesfolio" too, but I still expect a pulpit-thumping oratory from the good Reverend going into the dip and meeting the rising ground - Hubert stays FOREVER and just keeps galloping!Belgravian, and yes I've backed it.12/1

I totally get where you're coming from, but Run For Oscar won at Haydock before he won his Cesarewitch.Charles Byrnes would never win a trial of he thought he could win the main thing. I've no idea how it's favourite to be honest.
