I'm not going to claim it cost MG the race but wtf was the rider thinking at the Canal Turn? Everybody knows to go wide on the approach and cut the corner. He seemed not to realise it was a corner and virtually went straight into it, ending up going ridiculously wide and then having to turn sharply which seemed to affect it approaching the next fence before getting balanced again after it.

I'll be docking a few points off the rating of anything he rides in the near future.

No one likes me, but, fortunately, like Millwall fans, I don't care.

Flippancy, aside, I really enjoyed the race - Jet Plane smashed in the betting, but didn't run up to its Foxhunters' form over course and distance imo and has actually won over further.
