Professional Punter Andy Gibson

As I cross reference about 500 UK/IRE NH races against each other year by year since 2000, I know his "Cheltenham Trail" thing has gaps and is just wrong in places

In what sense?
I originally started looking at the whole trial/pointer/pathway race thing in 2019 cos it was one my old man's key analysis angles that he kept all in his head :-/

But having a particular set of skills due to spending a long time doing very tedious shit in corporate world, I approached it in a technical manner, initially via the cheltenham festival.

I looked at this sample on his site and set out to see whether I thought it was right/wrong/indifferent just as a sort of toe in the water prototype

I mentioned the first few here, but you going on a stats thread might be like trying to get Damien Thorn in a church.....
---->Some Stats
So here's the Charlie Hall, since 2000, 33 runners from Charlie Hall have gone to the following Gold Cup, and 0 have won. Even with your 'view' on stats, do you see that as a pointer to the Gold Cup?

I'm gradually adding more races to my cross reference list, so by the time it gets to the next festival I should have it up to about 600 UK/IRE NH races that I check if they act as any kind of trial/pointer/pathway to any of the festival races, or any of the NH races I have set up for that matter.

I went to a talk he gave (at least I think it was him; it was a long long time ago).From memory he said to always look at horses future entries and because of that it is something I do at the start of the flat season.
