Both ran well, the tide might be about to turn.
I fully expect the stable to do what the Gordon’s did today or the Tizzards last week. It’s just a question of catching it!

Make that five-fold plus place money.I guess I'll have to make do with the six-fold.
He didn't jump wellWinning time for the 12:30 race at Newbury was 11.73 seconds slower than standard which ties in with good to soft going. And they were jumping the full width of the fences rather than railing off the insides. Could be worth giving Hunter Legend at least one more chance on softer ground and also possibly up to three miles.

The Famous Five is entered in the 1.30 class two race at Aintree on Saturday. He had an entry at Newcastle recently in a lower class race, and another entry for this Friday, again in a lower class race, but was taken out today. Perhaps this is a sign the horse has been working well at home and they are keen to target the more valuable race?I'm keeping a watch brief on one of her handicappers, The Famous Five, who Venetia could get more improvement out of this season I reckon. The horse has been unfluent and that sort of thing but still running very well. There could be much more to come if Venetia gets this one racing properly.
But, but....unless my Poundland calendar has just developed a fundamental design flaw, it's now December. The Famous Five is entered in the 1.30 class two race at Aintree on Saturday. Stable jockey is booked for Saturday and I hope this horse proves he's the talent and ability that I think he does. Final declarations tomorrow. I hope a few stand their ground to keep this horses price honest.
If you saw Zertakt's race on Saturday it should really have been two out of seven. However it was that he managed to lose that race, it had nothing to do with VW being out of form ...But, but....unless my Poundland calendar has just developed a fundamental design flaw, it's now December.
Oh, December is the new November, ok.
She let me down for half a million by only having one out of seven last Saturday, so she's not in my good books at the moment, but I'll have a look.
