Off to Newbury today and a few of interest that I’ll be looking at:

12:35 Dutch Corner
1:05 Bespoke Tailor
2:05 Top Target
 
Had a nice day, yo, couldn’t bring myself to bet against the 2/13 favourite Sober Glory who looked the part and ran like it, so left Dutch Corner alone. He ran ok, although Harry Skelton worked him surprisingly hard to snatch a distant third towards the line. Fire Warning, too, looked impressive and ran accordingly. I chanced Bespoke Tailor who kept with him most of the way, but didn’t have an answer when push came to shove. He was streets ahead of the rest, though, so I’ll take him again somewhere. Both those winning favourites were a class apart

Top Target won well which was nice since he was my main bet of the day.
 
Well done with Top Target. Completely blew the race apart didn’t he? I guess one or two of the jockeys on the ones that raced in rear were thinking the front two had gone too fast and would come back but they didn’t and nothing else got into it
 
3:35 Planned Paradise. Seems like an obvious plot and the price now reflects - I got 7s, but not much, last night on the exchange.
2:25 Minella Missile. Ran in this last year off 138 after his G2 novice win - I can't believe he's as bad as 121. 15s on the exchange.
 
Did I pick up the TV people correctly?

Did they say It was £40 for the three days of the 'Winter Million'?

Did that £40 cover all three days, including Ascot yesterday?

Regardless, I have to say I have enjoyed the first two days even if bets have been very conservative and am looking forward to Windsor this afternoon.

Sticking with the low-key betting approach, I've only backed combo ew doubles in the two handicaps (with odds obtained on Friday):

Nells Son (11/1)/ Sans Bruit (20/1)

Royal Rambler (7/1)/ Minella Missile (16/1)

Edit - obviously there will be R4s involved.

Followed you in on these two. Also giving another chance to Torneo in the 1.50 at Windsor. Never put in the race last time and is capable of better. Also gone for Matata who wasn’t stopping last time with today’s slightly longer distance likely to be OK for him on this course
 
Must be a lot of accas running at Windsor given the winners of the first 4 races.
I wonder what the placepot divi will be if the favs perform in the 5th Protektorat wins the 6th!
I have a couple of longshots running for my placepot in the 5th, hopefully they squeeze out a couple of favourites.
