Don't think it's me, but I can't see any way to create a blog here...Member Blogs

I'm suspecting it's either been disabled or perhaps was always an admin-only function and needed to be requested.

Any pointers, Bryan or Dave?

I made a blog so it must have been easy so I assume it's changed.
I can't see how to start a blog now.
I think a PM to Mister B will sort it.

I'm going to make a bet that creating a blog was doable (by users) before (on the older software) and either got disabled in the update or maybe is not even possible on the newer software (though that would be unlikely I think).

@Bryan and Dave If I'm right - and you're able to create it for me - I'd like to name it...

What a disappointingly-banal title.

"Pope Chaumi I, Leader Of The Roman Catholic World, Uses His Direct Line To The Almighty To Provide Tomorrow's Results Today" would have been so much better.

I can't see what all the fuss is about tbh.

I just started a thread in Chit Chat and called it my blog/diary - job done.

Hardly anyone reads it, and most of the few who have made the mistake of having a gander or, even worse, commenting on it, have been banned from the thread by me.

And I happily talk to myself briefly there every evening.

Typical postings....

"Dear Diary, lost today - I hate everyone and everything."

"Dear Diary, won today - I still hate everyone and everything but at least I'm in a good mood and can eat tonight."

I love the YFUSA suggested title. Magic. And, for that matter, the YFUSA blog offers some mild entertainment in moments of despair when a 'snap out of it' is required.

But the revised title will (likely) be shit for SEO. I want to see if it'll get search visitors. Or maybe even AI visitors. And I don't think (even in the unlikely event it will work for that) that being in Chit Chat will help it (though I did consider it).

It probably went unnoticed, but I deliberately structured the threads on the Melbourne Cup and HK racing in a similar way. Think the Melbourne one got 4000 views or something like that in about 6 days, pretty sure the HK one got some traction too (I don't have access to any historical data, and there are tools that give that, but they're probably only available to Bryan and Dave).

Stop yawning :)

I know no one else cares about this stuff. And that's fine, ofc. But it has its benefits.
