Its Saudi Cup Race Day!!!

Key horses to look at

Saudi Derby (1600m Dirt):
Satono Voyage: Looks to acquire enough points to qualify for the 152nd Running of the Kentucky Derby, should Satono Voyage win the Saudi Derby

1351 Turf Sprint (1351m Turf):
Lazzat: his first race after a shock lose to 200-1 odds winner Powerful Glory in the Champions Sprint at Ascot, looking to bounce back. Should be the favourite

Neom Turf Cup (2100m Turf), Newly Upgraded to Group 1
Shin Emperor: one of many Japanese horses to attend the World Cup, the current NEOM Turf Cup winner. Ran to an 8th place finish at the Japan Cup in November. Would be heading to Hong Kong after Saudi, skipping the Dubai Sheema Classic.
Alohi Alii: Finished 2nd to last in the Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe, would have to keep an eye on the condition as he is a child of Duramente who has historic issues with traveling outside of Japan.

Saudi Cup:
Forever Young: Reigning Saudi Cup Champion, First Race Post Breeder Cup Classic Winner, should be the overwhelming favorite but will have contenders. Should he win, he will acquire a total earning of over $29m.

Nysos (USA): Won the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile so is up a few hundred meters in the Saudi Cup, could provide a threat to Forever Young

Sunrise Zipangu: Last Ran in the G1 Arima Kinen and finished an impressive 5th Place behind Regaleria (The 2024 Arima Kinen Winner), Could be an outside shot

Sir Mark Prescott said that the target for Pendragon after finishing second in last year's Doncaster Cup was today's Red Sea Turf Handicap instead of a run in the Cesarewitch off a handicap mark of 97. No sign of him in today's runners, and first prize is £1m plus.

On my way to put his windows through as we speak.

You can take the lad out of the council estate but you can't take the council estate out of the lad.

Its Time for the (Newly Crowned) G1 Neom Turf Cup

Shin Emperor, Current Champion

Royal Champion, Won the G2 Bahrain International Trophy

Alohi Alii, First race after Eating shit at the Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe

Summary of the Previous Races
Saudi Derby G3: Won by Al Haram, Satono Voyage got 3rd.
Riyadh Dirt Sprint G2: Won by Imagination, after coming 2nd in the Breeders Cup Cygames Sprint

Unrelated to Saudi but in the G2 H.H The Amir Trophy, it was won by Japan's 8 year old Deep Monster, sired by the Great Deep Impact, beating Goliath to the post, the first Japanese winner of the Amir Trophy
