We are the same age, we both have Law degrees, we both like a Cheese Toastie, the parallels between me and Kier Starmer just won't stop.

I'd rather be shacked up with his Deputy PM than his missus, though, and that's barely even scratching the surface of our differences.

So, Badenoch says she doesn’t have sandwiches for lunch because lunch is for wimps and she just works through instead. But then says she sometimes sends away for a steak. Now, in my humble experience I find that I can still work whilst eating a sandwich ( unless it has stuff that might drop out like tomatoes and cucumber etc in which case I need two hands to hold it all together to stop bits dropping out). But, to eat a steak one would have to stop working completely and attack it with a knife and fork. Or am I missing something here?

This idea of working through lunch is Thatcherism at its most rank.

It's also a physical and mental health disaster waiting to happen to many which, in turn, places more strain on a broken NHS.

Disagree Mo personally work my lunch break as I will never spend a minute in my workplace that I'm not paid for..end of!

That sounds like flexitime, which is quite different from being forced to work your lunch (and tea) breaks because the bosses won't pay you for your break times.

She says she's "too busy" to have lunch.

Too busy doing what, exactly?

"There will never be a worse Tory leader than Liz Truss."

Kemi Badenoch: "Hold my steak!"

Busy devising ways to look even more stupid than Truss at PMQs, that'll be it!

All joking aside, the lady has been on a life journey your average chinless Tory public schoolboy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, could only ever dream of - she's worth a million of any of them and it makes me sad she remains the target for so much apparent online misogyny - it says nothing positive about 2024 Britain in my view.

Your view of her not mine which is entirely different, I shan't conflate opinion with fact but I find her to be a thoroughly egregious person.
And believe me I come from a very long way from any kind of silver spoon, closest would be the packs of sugar

She's cringing.

I think Raynors critics should listen to her being interviewed on The Rest is Politics Leading podcast.

Chezza has always hated Hughesey, but never more so than at this particular moment....
