It's simple, Tanlic. Most come back from a tough experience but some don't.

Whether it applies to Mill House I personally wouldn't know. It is possible other issues were at play.

I've opined on here many times that Rooster Booster was never the same after RJ gave him an unnecessarily hard race in the TGT at Newbury.
 
Tom Costello could not forgive Imperial Call for being as good as he was.
Fergie called to purchase " a good young horse" for new owners ,Lisadell Farms , promising they were wealthy people who would pay well for plenty of stock in future.
Fergie never returned and Tom hated to hear the horse's name after.

Paddy Mullins had similar feelings re Dawn Run; needs no explanation.
Castlebar Sling deprived our Camira of victory in a 33,000 Euro handicap at Leopardstown by a short head, just nutting her on the line.
It was his only victory that season from 20 starts.
The following he ran seven times; winning at Cork Easter weekend 24k handicap 14/1 and Irish Cambridgeshire at 20/1.

That thing of Pipe’s that carried See More Business out in the Gold Cup. But not as much as I hated myself for not backing the latter the following year at 16/1…
 
Really DO - I think you should spelt it out properly if that's your attitude! I mean, ACs actions could seriously have resulted in a bun in the oven! That's not something you could easily roll with!
 
An absolute cracker of a thread ruined by a gang of intruders! I must say that I can distinguish the wheat from the chaff on this forum now. It also goes against the grain for me to get so peed off about it.

That’s how I got Sophie ten years, nine months and two days (ish!) ago. ( not with AC !) I know ALL about outdoor sowing of oats and beans and barley…
