The 2025 Should Be Odds-On Thread

Forgot all about it :(

Fantastic price for the thread. Cheers, Luke. Hope you backed it like an odds-on shot.
I got stuck into her-as punters we always think we should have won more but I got the amount I wanted to win. After the race Nicholls said she would have a summer at grass and he would think about races like the Ascot Hurdle where she would have a chance receiving 7lbs from the geldings. Two things about her -she travels like a dream in her races and I'm not convinced Cheltenham suits her.

Saturday, Haydock 3.33 - Audience 7/2 - okay, he's Audience so we don't know which version of him will turn up but I think it's more than likely the real one will do so since this is a drop in class for him. On my figures the main danger is Spycatcher (5lbs to find) and I can't see him troubling Audience at this trip. Alyanaabi heads the market and is improving but he has 9lbs to find on ORs with Audience (11lbs on RPRs and 9lbs on mine). Kinross is second-top on ORs but has a 5lbs penalty to concede. If the real Audience does turn up the race could be over by half way.

I'm with you on Audience, DO, but I'm a bit concerned about him hanging left in his last 3 starts so I've reduced my stake somewhat. Hoping he leads and will put an in running lay on him at 1.3 to hopefully guarantee some profit. Good luck!

Strategic Focus (7:04 Saratoga) 11/8
Chad Brown Gun Runner colt.
Impressive when winning a 50k mile maiden on the dirt at Aqueduct beating Hop Sing and Duration (stable companion and favourite for the race).
The 2nd and 3rd then went on to fight out a finish at Belmont drawing clear.
Extra furlong sure to suit and could go on to better things.
I blinked and missed the 5/2 available this morning!!!!

Nice one 👍🏻

For anyone interested the 10:08 at Saratoga has been moved from 2 mile on the turf to 1 mile 6 furlongs on the dirt.
How they can do this half an hour before the rac is beyond me.

Third under a hold up at all costs ride where Tom Marquand kept in simple on the Willie Haggas trained winner.Slightly unlucky but I will chip away at Vauban for Melboune Cup.

He just doesn't stay beyond 1m 6f.
