The Fist Of Fury Royal Ascot Cup 2025

You can’t beat a competition to build unity on a forum, good friendly competition, banter and gentle teasing amongst the entrants who are not afraid to put their heads above the parapet to be shot whilst others watch and pick up on people going well bet accordingly although they would never admit it but I know for a fact that someone has a note book with such information in 😉. Pleased to have finished in the top twelve especially as I only spent 10 minutes per race day making selections and putting them up and not watching the races due to visiting my wife in hospital.

Absolutely agree, Gullible - I have always loved the competitions and its a huge tribute to the much missed Diamond Geezer that we have kept them going.

Well done Coach - an excellent performance and some good tipping from many in what was a tough week for some, myself included. I am amazed I posted a top ten finish as I thought I had a rubbish week for me.

Again, TFT - you have risen to the occasion and done a brilliant job! Fist would have been very proud of you!

I was never going to get up. Pulled in to the treacle by a boat and a coach who made it a dour test. The trip was always a question mark!

Well done Coach. Just kept pouring it on.
D.O also for making a race of it.

TFT also for running it. (y)

I flattered briefly before finding the going, draw, watering and not properly reading the form came against me.
(Nothing new there so.)
Still enjoyed the week and the good humour of all involved.
Many thanks for the fun .
Congrats to all who performed so well.
Reading Phil Bull's biography he placed absolutely no importance on draw bias whatsoever.
He cursed when ground conditions changed dramatically over a short time, making form irrevelant.
He absolutely loathed Royal Ascot where you needed to be an olympic athlete to see the parade ring, watch them cantering to the start , have a bet and watch the race without the added obstruction of fashionistas and good time Charlies getting in his way.
Some things never change.

Congrats and well done to Coach on the win, and thanks to Fortune for the hard work👍

As Cheltenham winner do i get to present him with the Green Jacket?😁

Not one for the flat racing but this competition at least made Ascot interesting for a change. Having only joined the forum in May I missed all the NH festivals but there's always next year.

Thanks again TFT and congrats to Coach and all that ran him close 👏

Out of real generosity Coach Miguel has chosen to donate his prize fund win to a local horse charity, so I'll get this done.
What a fantastic gesture CM - and I see that your profile shows Edinburgh too. That's all too much for me to handle, they say us Yorkshiremen are like Scots with the generosity removed.

Been in Glasgow this weekend and I have to say the folk were so helpful in getting me and my best mate to the gig yesterday. Never judge a book by the cover ive learned. I'm just happy to help give back to the horses who give us so much enjoyment out of life.
