The 2025 Glorious Goodwood Day 5 (Saturday) thread

I wouldn’t know if the comment about too many threads was directed at you, I didn’t read as that, but had some sympathy with the view as I haven’t been sure about where best to post when I had a thought this week. It was probably worth saying, because others may be thinking the same thing and help ease the congestion slightly.

That said, the threads you start are always clearly labelled and I think start the conversation on the races and meetings that certainly interest me and I hope most people who come on here. So I hope you continue as before, as your contributions help the forum, not hinder it - in my view.
Echo.

5/1 Sam Hawkens covers me for today so losses are no greater than they were at the close of play yesterday. If I can find the winner of the Stewards Cup (not too hopeful) I might end up not too far down on the whole meeting.

Live and let live, reet, live and let live.

No notebooks and apart from dear old Rhoscolyn I’m glad to see the back of Goodwood. Hoping to see it finish with a Shadwell double:

Al Aasy in the 1:20 who will likely come from the back and must avoid bad luck. The more it dries out the better.

Mudbir in the 3:45 who only goes up 2lb for his Class3 win at Sandown on his handicap debut. Been well supported this morning.

Bingo. What a lovely meeting it is :ROFLMAO:

2 out of 2 can't do better than that.

Wasn't going to bother today as I've done my brains a bit the last couple of days but had a bit on Toimyson in the last and done him in an exacta with Treasure time. Hopefully recoup some of the pot.
