Well, of course. They're in it for the owners and the stable, they might say.The yard does what it wants. They don't care about integrity or punters.
Pennies or pounds makes no difference.Isn’t part of the enjoyment of betting having to work out, without inside information, when a horse is going to win? Although I’m saying that as someone who only bets in pennies!
I think they will start targeting stuff way before spring. Thats if they want to give the title another serious shot.Skelton yard will have a load laid out for these spring handicaps.
Without trying to soundbite others, theres a couple of horses in that yard that are absolute certainties when they’re off.
Problem is the market will know that as well, so you get no bang for your buck.
"Lark's fart"Well, of course. They're in it for the owners and the stable, they might say.
They're the ones up at lark's fart every morning doing the work.
Any valuable Saturday handicap ill be on a Skelton horse blind.I think they will start targeting stuff way before spring. Thats if they want to give the title another serious shot.
Nurse Susan ( 130 ) - 9th of 11 last Sunday at Carlisle in a 0-145 two and a half mile handicap hurdle when never put in the race. Only two runs last season - Cheltenham in March and then Ayr - but won the mares' handicap hurdle at the December Cheltenham meeting the previous season. Thought worthy of an entry in the valuable three mile handicap hurdle at Haydock a week on Saturday. (One of six entries for the Skelton team. ) Runs in familiar blue and yellow quartered colours.Any valuable Saturday handicap ill be on a Skelton horse blind.
Shes one of 3 in that yard that are chucked in. Which pot/pots they take in with her i dont know.Nurse Susan ( 130 ) - 9th of 11 last Sunday at Carlisle in a 0-145 two and a half mile handicap hurdle when never put in the race. Nico De Boinville disgracing himself again.
Weren’t sent to win, but he absolutely couldn’t have hidden it.That ride on Lucky Place was deserving of a months porridge
Horse was not tired and crossed the line full of it
Nico always looks after them. Absolutely weak as piss in a finish.Looked terrible, but
Following the race, Nicky Henderson reported that LUCKY PLACE (FR), placed third, had scoped dirty post-race.
just excusing a non trying school or was Nico very perceptive and looked after him
They’re not hiding it though, everything is working back from the County for them.Skelton ride on Fortune De Mer far worse !
