Spot on mate. And i have done a piece about this in the past although i do think it was on my previous forum. With all the racing on between now and March, personally I'm not interested in hearing about Cheltenham until the back end of Feb
Even over the next few days you have these on, which I'm sure provide plenty scope for interesting discussion, so why the fk talk about races in March 2026?

Take the Tingle Creek for instance. It is a great race in its own right celebrating one of the most entertaining two mile chasers i have ever seen. And the race itself has thrown up some memorable finishes fought out by some great horses. The years of Dessie, Long Engagement, Waterloo Boy were exceptional. Flagship Uberalles made it his own and one of my all time favourites, Moscow Flyer, was an absolute joy to watch. He was a bloody machine !!!!!!
But i always get the feeling now that it is just a stepping stone to the "big one". A trial. One of the few races to take in on the way to the only two mile chase that really matters.
No it isnt !!!!!!!!!!!
