Can anyone explain the O'Brien jockey strategy/logic? In terms of eliminating variables in order to decide which horse to bet on, it is plain frustrating.

Johnny doesn't look so bad now does he..... The more I think about it, the more I think Aidan might be the problem. Wonder how long they will tolerate him? Particularly if he doesn't deliver this year.

Mildly intrigued at the riding arrangements at Dundalk tomorrow. Johnny M has 6 rides, 1 for the Aga, 2 for Wachman/Magnier and none for Aidan. Guess Aidan must be concentrating on trying to get Joseph over the finishing line in the apprentice title.

His problem is his riding weight. The RP database reports that the lowest he has done all year is 8-10 which is high enough.

Come on. Be fair. Is he really that bad? He can't be thereabouts in the Irish jockeys championship by being that average?

Where does Fran go now? Don't think he has enough experience to get the Ballydoyle job, despite the link with JPMcM. Might he try his hand in the UK?
