It seemed to me Mark Walsh overdid the waiting tactics and allowed Townend to get a breather into GW which meant he had a bit left once headed

Handstands rather threw away all chance with some poor jumping including at least one really bad blunder and didn’t get home as a result. Possibly didn’t appreciate being taken on for the lead. A great run from Royal Pagaille but fair play to the winner

Well done tipping up Legendary Luke. I have a tiny interest in this horse through the Racing Club so was delighted to see him win. He jumped quite well apart from over jumping one and then clattering the next (possibly scared himself) and will improve for the experience
