Off course SP returns need investigating ....... I am aware of an incident recently where on track there was a punter close to the off of a race trying to place a £1000 EW on a horse at 6's which was freely available with most of the bookmakers - the starting price returned was 7/2.

Chancing a small EW on Nightwalker at 40/1 in the big one.

After drifting overnight I simply had to step in again at 125/1 EW 4 Places and 40/1 for the Top 3 finish .... and also a little at 100's & 33's. I can't see the horse winning, but on that ground is a sporting bet for a top 4 finish and simply too big a price. Finger crossed for a good run.
