    Cheltenham Gold Cup

To my eye, GDC was never going or jumping with his usual zest. I thought that he wasn't letting himself down on the ground which the course walkers were calling proper good. Willie seemed to think the same post race so, unless something else comes to light, I'll be assuming that to be the case...

    Forum Horse Connections

I thought that The Big Westerner was interfered with (by Wingmen?) and then she blocked off Wendigo. Think he'd have been 3rd but a fine effort and one to follow in novice chases next season.

What wins the Cheltenham Festival handicaps?

Would like a smug mode emoji but will settle for . Experience counts for a lot in these restricted jockey races and Danny G gave her a fine ride.

    2025 Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle

Waiting on Willie. If he declares his 4, Hot Fuss will miss out.

    2025 Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle

I could be wrong but I think that the Timeform list of juveniles that DO put up in the Triumph thread, is another tick for Hot Fuss if you compare Timeform rating with OR.

    2025 Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle

From the general handicap thread: Hot Fuss in the Fred Winter has a mark of 122 compared to a flat OR of 93. His hurdle form includes a level weight 4l defeat by East India Dock and his Festival warm up was on the flat, presumably to protect his mark. He might not make the cut but 16/1 nrnb...

    Donald Trump

I think that the comments about Zelensky/Trump by the leader of Reform UK tell you all you need to know about the lies behind the disaster that is Brexit. Couldn't get a browner tongue by using Cherry Blossom.

    No point.

In that event they would pick up a fine but, as it happens, this is a jumps meeting.

    No point.

If the going is different on race day from that at declaration time, connections are entitled to withdraw without penalty. However, they still lose the entry fee so the decision isn't taken lightly. I notice that the Newcastle going now has the word 'firm' in the description, albeit only as...
